I blend real outdoor skills, risk management, and creative photography, so you can focus on your experience while I handle logistics, safety, and capturing every meaningful moment.

Medical Mastery & Guiding
When I moved to Alberta, I dove into the medical field—six years of clinical work sharpening my skills, running clinics, and teaching first-aid to groups of 20. I was on a path toward emergency medicine, wilderness rescue, and military field medic training, but life had other plans.
Then 2020 happened. Watching the mental health crisis unfold, I realized my calling wasn’t just pulling people out of danger—it was guiding them safely into nature to reset, heal, and grow. I became a certified sylvotherapist, and a Wilderness Survival Instructor molding my wilderness expertise with intentional nature therapy to help people reconnect with themselves and the outdoors all while photographing the healing and adventures unfolding.

How ACE Evolved
Photography has been a part of my life since 2012, when I started capturing weddings and elopements. Over time, I transitioned away from traditional weddings, drawn instead to adventure photography—hiking, backpacking, camping, and local tourism—helping people explore, connect, and capture meaningful moments in nature.
A.C.E. Expeditions began as an outdoor adventure and photography business, blending exploration, guidance, and storytelling.
Now, in 2026, we’re closing the loop—returning to my original passion for weddings and elopements, but in an evolved hybrid approach. A.C.E. combines years of adventure photography, wilderness guiding, outfitting expertise, medical and first-aid experience, and sylvotherapy to create sacred, intimate, and fully supported experiences. The result is a once-in-a-lifetime celebration that feels both adventurous and deeply personal, with every moment thoughtfully captured.
